Executive Manager - Children and Youth Services
Kirsty has worked in both government and non-government organisations across the areas of families and children for over 20 years. She has held various positions throughout that time, including senior management roles. Kirsty holds a Bachelor of Social Science.
Kirsty is deeply passionate about contributing to the well-being of children and families and has extensive experience in the area of child protection. She was actively involved in the recent Nyland Royal Commission into the state’s child protection system and welcomes the government response and implementation of new processes to protect our youngest and most vulnerable citizens.
Kirsty was a finalist in the Telstra Young Business Woman of the year Awards. She is also a Charter Champion for young people in care and a board member of the Child and Family Welfare Association. She enjoys working with teams to support staff to reach their full potential and ensure that services are delivered in a way that best optimises outcomes for children, young people and families.
