As Executive Manager Property Services at Junction, James has led the assets and maintenance transformation to a customer focused, evidence based and procurement ready system. This has enabled delivery of better value for money from trusted local contractors through a more structured and efficient program, with a better understanding of upcoming maintenance obligations and a switch of expenditure away from a reactive spend to planned spend.
James has University Qualifications in Business/Property and Post Graduate Qualifications in Project Management along with 20 year’s experience in Property Asset Management in both New Zealand and Australia. Most recently providing input and review into the AHURI Australian social housing best practice asset management framework.
James is the Treasurer and Board Member for the Community Housing Industry Association of South Australia (CHIA-SA ) along with being part of the Leadership Group for the PowerHousing Development and Assets Roundtable and is a Certified Senior Housing Professional with the Australasian Housing Institute (AHI).
