Leave a Bequest

A bequest can make an enduring impact well into the future.

People decide to make a bequest as a special way of saying thank you for the valuable work we do throughout the community.

Making a bequest is simple and does not need to be costly. There are two ways someone can make a bequest:

  • You can simply add a codicil (a single page document) to an existing will.
  • A will can be re-written so the gift is incorporated within the will.

Bequests can include cash, securities and real estate.

Junction Australia suggests the following wording could be included in your will:

"I bequeath to Junction Australia Ltd. (ABN 50 167 313 153) the sum of $......... (or ........ percentage of my estate or  ...... percentage of my residue of my estate) and declare that the receipt of its treasurer or other proper officer shall be sufficient discharge for my trustee."

Please consult with a qualified legal professional to ensure your wishes can be properly incorporated in your will.
