Construction has commenced on a new $36 million development in the heart of Tonsley’s Innovation District, providing much-needed new homes for South Australians.

The project, which will see 50 apartments developed as part of its first stage, has been supported with a $15.2 million injection from the Federal Government’s Social Housing Accelerator Program (SHAP), delivered in partnership with the State Government and Community Housing Providers.

Oaklands Park

Oaklands Green, the Oaklands Park Renewal Project, is an initiative to redevelop and rebuild social housing, as well as create new private housing and improve the area. This includes new parks, roads and laneways.

Most of the social housing in the area will be replaced and 400 new houses built and sold. There will be no reduction of social housing. Allotments are currently being cleared, with Construction expected to commence soon.

The project is being delivered by Housing Renewal Australia in partnership with Junction.

Camden Park

Stage 2 is complete on Junction’s $20 million new housing development at Camden Park.

In collaboration with Buildtec Group, the project comprises 54 architecturally-designed new homes located on Anzac Highway.

The Camden Park development was initiated through a Renewal SA EOI and is being delivered in partnership with the South Australian Housing Authority.

Prospect

Work is now complete on Junction’s $8.2 million four-storey affordable housing complex in one Prospect’s main thoroughfares.

The project, delivered by Junction and Palumbo Construction, includes 23 one and two-bedroom apartments. It reached completion in early 2023.

Melrose Park

Completed in 2020, Junction’s $14 million development in Regent Street, Melrose Park comprises 36 new homes in a leafy neighbourhood closely located to shopping centres, schools and other key amenities.

Delivered in partnership with Qattro and the South Australian Housing Authority, the site includes 21 affordable homes which sold off the plan and 15 properties retained for Junction tenants.
