Slide Programs In conjunction with service partners, we deliver a range of programs to support South Australians to thrive.

Siblings in Focus

Siblings in Focus (SIF) brings together primary-aged children who have a brother or sister with a disability, special needs and/or a chronic illness.
The program enables participants who are experiencing similar circumstances at home to spend time with each other in a fun and friendly environment. It helps them explore their feelings and works with them to build their coping skills for challenging environments. It also supports families to learn and hear about the services available to them.
Sessions are held in the southern suburbs at Aldinga, Seaford and Hackham. School holiday programs are also offered at various locations.
SIF is a Communities for Children (Anglicare SA) activity funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services (DSS).

Tool Library

We run a tool library in the Marion area. Supported by MarionLIFE, the library has a range of garden tools for hire for a small fee. Bookings essential.

Seaford Meadows Nature Play

Muddy boots and smiles all round. That’s the sentiment behind a Junction-led nature play group at Seaford Meadows.
The group supports unstructured, child-led play activities using only what can be found naturally – whether that be creating small items with bark and leaves, building a hut with tree branches, or simply splashing in a few puddles.
The Nature Play Group is run out of the Seaford Meadows Scout Hall, with all donations filtering back to the Seaford Meadow Scouts. Admission is a gold coin donation.
Bookings are essential, email Caitlin at charvey@junctionaustralia.org.au.

Kids and Dads

The impact of positive male role models – whether they be dads, step-dads, foster carers, grandparents or friends – in the lives of children and young people cannot be underestimated. Through the ‘Kids and Dads’ program run out of Hackham Community Centre we help nurture these special connections through supported play and learning activities.
Kids and Dads is a Communities for Children activity funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services. It is a collaboration between Anglicare SA, Uniting Communities and Communities for Children, Onkaparinga.
