Her career is grounded in a strong commitment to child‑centred, trauma‑informed and peer‑led practice.
Experienced in providing strategic and operational leadership across complex service portfolios, she is recognised for building strong partnerships and translating policy and legislative frameworks into effective service delivery, with a focus on service quality, workforce and leadership capability, financial stewardship, governance and risk.
A respected sector advocate, Leisha actively contributes to system reform through policy and advocacy work with CAFFSA as a Board member, ensuring frontline practice and lived experience inform decision‑making. With board experience across other peak bodies, she brings a balanced approach to accountability, innovation and co‑design, championing systems that are responsive, equitable and sustainable for children, families and communities.
