Abby and Scott Beeson.
It’s only just begun but already, 2021 is shaping up to be an exciting year for Abby and Scott Beeson.
The couple recently purchased a townhouse off the plan at The Avenues – a housing development collaboration between Junction and Palumbo Construction.
Keen to harness the Government grants available, a search on realestate.com led Abby and Scott to the project.
“We can’t wait,” Abby, 31, said.
“We rang Ray White (*Ray White Glenelg - real estate agents) and then sat down with the agent and heard all about it. There was one townhouse with a double garage which was perfect for us. Three bedrooms and a living room downstairs…which is what we wanted.”
Signing on the dotted line in late October, Abby said she’s already a regular in the neighbourhood.
“I’m going past every few days just to see it, even though there’s not much there just yet. Setting up our own garden out the back and getting our first dog are things we’re really looking forward to.
“For us, we’ve been renting for over 10 years. To know we will actually own our own home finally – it will be a good feeling.”
When completed, The Avenues will comprise 30 new homes for South Australians, just nine kilometres from the city in Mitchell Park.
