Our experienced counsellors help many children, young people and adults each year to manage their feelings and actions, understand their behaviour, gain confidence to make necessary changes in their lives and increase their overall sense of well-being.

Parent & Adolescent Counselling

This service aims to support young people aged 12 - 18 years, as well as their parents, to work with the changes and challenges of adolescence. The goal of this service is to reduce family conflict, prevent family breakdown and work towards preventing young people from having to leave the family home and face homelessness.

Sexual Abuse Counselling 

This service supports individuals and families of all ages to manage the trauma of sexual abuse, including rape and child sexual abuse. We provide an opportunity to discuss and address life issues impacted by sexual abuse and emotions such as:

  • Fear
  • Confusion
  • Guilt
  • Shame
  • Anger
  • Grief
  • Depression
  • Anxiety

This service also supports families and individuals with:

  • How to keep children and young people safe
  • How to manage behavioural problems and deal with emotions
  • Relationship and personal issues
  • Stress management, including Post Traumatic Stress
