Junction House

Junction House provides supported accommodation for young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Up to eight young people live at Junction House at any one time.  They pay rent and commit to working with support staff to re-engage with school or alternative educational pathways.  They learn independent living skills including cooking, laundry, shopping to a budget and eating healthy foods.  After a stay of between 3 – 6 months, they are assisted to move into transitional accommodation and then supported to reconnect with their community and prepare for a long-term home.

Young people come to Junction House through Trace A Place.
